Donald Trump is one of the most successful businesspersons of all time. His ability to spot a deal has made him both revered and hated. While he is considered a controversial figure in business, and most recently politics, he has definitely made his mark on the world. Donald John Trump was born in 1946. He was the fourth of Frederick C. and Mary MacLeod Trump’s five children. Trump was raised in Queens, New York. His father was a builder and real estate developer who later specialized in constructing and operating middle-income apartments. Donald and his siblings were born into wealth and privilege. Trump was a smart and aggressive child. By age 13, his parents realized that he lacked discipline, so they sent him to the New York Military Academy. Trump did well at the Academy. He became a star athlete and student leader by the time he graduated in 1964. While at the Academy, Trump spent his free time observing construction sites and renovating old houses.
