Civil rights activists will always be the heroes of the black people in America. MLK Jr. and Malcolm X will be at the top of this list engraved in the hearts of black Americans. Neither of these men out worked each other and that wasn't their intention either. The main goal of these great men was to achieve political and social greatness for their fellow black people. MLK and Malcolm X appeal to their audience's emotions and religious beliefs in their documents “A letter from a Birmingham jail” and “The Ballot or the Bullet.”
Both of these political leaders were succesful in leading economic improvements for the African American in the 1960's. Martin Luther King jr. led succsesful boycotts and marches for the better treatment of his people, and led to real change that has lasted to this present day. Malcome X advocated for African Americans to take charge of their own economy and put money back into their own econmy that they have created. There are good ideas and policies from both leaders but history proves that King's way of improving is longerlasting and more in inclusive than what Malcome X advocated and heres why.
Martin Luther King Jr was more on segregation laws since that was the problem. Abraham Lincoln had a harder life than Martin at times. Both had many differences but were still fighting for the same thing.
In addition to their differences, Dr. King has always been seen as the leader of Civil Rights movements but in reality Gandhi was the Father of the Civil Rights Movements, stated in document a, while Dr. King as known as the Father of the American Civil Rights Movements, also stated in document a. Furthermore, when they had been protesting, they both had written letters to different people. Gandhi wrote it for Lord Irwin and Dr. King wrote it for the Clergymen, which can be seen in the HMH textbook on pages 225-242 and 287-290. Lastly, both Dr. King and Gandhi both fought for different causes. Dr. King fought for the rights of African Americans.

Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X are two profound African American figures in history. They both fought for equality and to better humanity. But, the tactics they used were very different. Their different views may have been rooted from the where they were raised. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in a middle class family and received a very solid education.

Dr. King was a huge part of the American civil rights movement and his speech influenced many people from the mid-1950s to 1968 when he was assassinated. Dr. King also influenced many writers. An author named Charles Euchner used Dr. Kings Speech I have a dream and added some of his own ideas to it. The 1960's and 1970's period was one of America's greatest spark in society. America went through many tragedies and many downfalls through the diversity of races. but still managed to ameliorate this. These time periods were America's greatest impact in the civil rights movement. There were many great leaders who deeply impacted society through the civil right movement, but in my perspective minister and civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr was one of society's greatest aid for equality.
The Civil rights act was lead by Martin luther king jr, an african american baptist minister and social activist. The Civil rights act was definitely one of his most major events and most remembered. King was assassinated in nineteen sixty eight at thirty nine years old, several years after the rights movement. He fought in favor for the african american civil rights, disadvantaged and victims of injustice. Although this was the most well known act, he had more familiar right movements before.
Malala and Martin Luther King Jr. both are famous for the way they use their words. Their goals are to spread peace and equality throughout the world. They both had some obstacles, for Malala, she got shot in the face 3 times. For Martin Luther King Jr., he was arrested, segregated, and later in life he was assassinated. “There has always been this fear that if you give girls education, then girls will get out of control, You have the right to education, and you have the right to discover more in life.”
King had a bigger impact on the Civil Rights movement because of his peaceful approach, leadership qualities and his inspiring speaking skills. Martin Luther King had a bigger impact based on his peaceful approach towards the Civil Rights movement. Since segregation was a major concern back in the 1900’s, King wanted it to put it to an end. He did this with the Montgomery bus boycott. He protested after Rosa Parks, a civil rights activist, got thrown off the bus for sitting in a white mans seat (Mach, 2012).
Dr. King and Malala are both voices of protest. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929 Dr. Martin Luther King would soon become one of the best known activist in the Civil Rights movement during the 1960s. Originally born under the name Michael King Jr. (Biography.com Editors MLK) named by his mother, Alberta Williams King, and his father Michael King Sr. Dr. King was the middle child of three children. Growing up, Dr. King's family was rooted in church. His grandfather was the minister to Ebenezer Baptist church.
Racism is something that still exists today in America. By now people would have thought that we would have exterminated it. People risked their lives so they can stand against their government to produce change. Change can only be acquired if people take the necessary actions. Martin Luther King Jr. preached about how the role of a citizen is to stand against injustice.
The person most remembered to have championed for the Civil Rights movement of African Americans was Martin Luther King, Jr. He demonstrated great courage and passion to defeat segregation and racism in the United States. His influence to all the African Americans to defy white supremacy and his belief in nonviolence lead to the success of the Civil Rights movement. His father, Martin Luther King Sr., who helped to advocate the idea that Blacks should vote, inspired him.
Malala was fighting for her, and many other girls rights to go to school and have a good education like everyone else. Mandela fought for his racial rights and his beliefs. Both of them had to suffer through many challenges. Malala was shot and nearly killed by a Taliban while Mandela was arrested
