Have their ever been any connections Dr. Mengele possibly have with any of the holocaust victims while he was in Auschwitz? Or have feelings of regret or remorse? Or even have emotions towards them? Dr. Mengele was a serious yet brutal man who was determined to pursue his dreams consisting of experiments upon the holocaust victims and achieving his goals and to go great ways to escape the consequences that was ordered for him and his experiments. Dr. Mengele pursued many of his dreams. Early on in his life Josef Rudolf Mengele had an interest in genetics and began to study genetics. He did love to learn and understand genetics.In 1937 Mengele received his medical degree and wanted to work with medicine. He went to college and focused on genetics and medicine. When Mengele worked in Auschwitz he had a interest especially in twins. He attempt to discover a way of injecting the aryan race into the jews. Not caring about the pain they went through, Mengele did his experiments without anesthesia, making the experiments painful and excruciating. He began this at Auschwitz camp as a doctor. Focused mostly on twins he would put them through surgery removing organs and limbs, for the twins he would do extremely unnecessary surgeries like sewing twins and their organs together, causing diseases and killing them.
