Edvard Grieg and His Influence on Music In the world of music, there are not many who have no recollection of the piano virtuoso and composer Edvard Grieg. His style of music, which embraces fantastic rolling melodies and powerful chords, has greatly influenced many other famous composers such as Edward MacDowell and the great Tchaikovsky. In addition to these great artists, Grieg also has influenced many people to embrace the roots of one’s country and the folklore thereof.
