The french and Indian war alter the political and ideological relations between Great Britain and the american colonies in many different ways. The war enable Britain to be more involved with colonial political and economic affairs. After the war Britain also ended their policy of salutary neglect. After a while their plan to make money of the colonies soon lead to the revolutionary war because it increased tension and outrage among the american colonies.

This was the first war to be over land, but not the last within United States history. The first two presidents of the United States, George Washington and John Adams, had differing levels of success in their presidencies. George Washington had a far more admired presidency, as he was able to maintain neutrality in wars and prevent conflict within the United States. He knew that the country was too weak to fight in wars, so he avoided conflict by maintaining neutrality in a war involving France and Britain. Although some did not support his decision, he knew that the country did not have enough strength to survive a loss in a war. It proved to be the right decision.

The American Revolution The French and Indian War impacted the American Revolution in many ways. Britain incurred a large debt from the cost of the war and the taxes that they imposed on the colonists created feelings of anger and rebellion that led to the revolution. As a result of the French and Indian war, the British were not at full strength which allowed the actions of the colonists to be more effective. Because of the outcome of the war, France was willing to help the colonists. Without the much needed help from the French the colonist may have never won the war.
Prior to becoming president, he served as a British military envoy. He took a group of volunteers with him to an isolated area, so that they could gather intelligence information on the enemy, which led to him to forcing the French to leave the area. Washington turned his volunteers into a real army by initiating disciplinary regulations and getting the Continental Congress to give him more money to pay his army, in an effort to stay the course longer. Because of his leadership skills, he was chosen to head the assembly that developed the Constitution. Washington worked for over a year to develop the Constitution, one of which provisions was for someone to be named a president.
He started out as a representative in Virginia’s House of Burgesses, and then progressing to be a delegate in the first and second Continental Congress. He led the United States to declare independence from England and continued to lead until the United States gained independence. Everybody respected him as a leader and followed his example, he motivated many troops and his military experience helped shape how successful the army was. George Washington did not just stand behind the lines and tell troops where to go. Washington would be at the front of his troops leading his men.
