The Sumerians, known mostly for having the earliest record for a written set of laws have achieved many things, from Hammurabi’s code to creating a working number system. When cultural diffusion started to happen the Sumerians found religion. The Sumerians worshipped many gods and believed that death comes along with your soul resting between earth’s crust and the seas where clay is your food.
