How did Hedy Lamarr change the world and S.O.A.R.? Not only did she change the world with frequency hopping but also with Bluetooth and GPS. Hedy Lamarr was born in Vienna, Austria on November 9, 1914. She later moved to America in 1937 to escape her Nazi arms dealer husband and escaped fame and fortune in Hollywood. Hedy does not get as much credit for inventing frequency hopping also called wifi. She created frequency hopping to stop the jamming of radio signals and as a secret communication system.
Hedy was a seeker in many ways such as being an inventor. Her invention of wifi was to help the US Navy during the 1940 during war. Hedy wasn't the only inventor but she did have good ideas to help. As said, “ American actress Hedy Lamarr may …show more content…

Hedy shows others and herself respect. She respected herself by knowing what was right for her. Hedy fledgling to America shows her self respect because she knew she would be better off in America other than Austria with her abusive husband. After coming to America she knew becoming a well-known actress was best. Hedy showed respect to others by becoming a well known actress in America and many people were beginning to know her name.
Countingung with S.O.A.R. Hedy was an amazing achiever in her years of living. Hedy changed the world with her amazing achievements. “Understanding the type of military technology the enemy used produced her idea for the frequency hopping signal.” That statement shows how she was an amazing achiever. She achieved being an actor and an inventor in two different countries. While inventing frequency hopping it led her to her ideas of bluetooth gps which we still use today.
Hedy's growth impacted her a lot in becoming a responsible individual. She was responsible for her own life choices and the choices of changing the world. Many people thought he was just a pretty face but Hedy being responsible for her actions showed the people not only was she an amazing actress she was an inventor.
