While Henry Ford didn't invent the automobile, he still played an immense role in the future of the automobile. Even at a young age, he would always work hard and had a creative mind for new designs. His assembly line was unique since there was a movement element. This moving assembly line permits the work to be taken to the worker instead of the worker constantly moving around the car to work on different parts of the automobile. The vehicle is moved down and built step by step; in the beginning, it was pulled down by a rope which later evolved into a moving chain mechanism (Henry Ford Biography 2020). This procedure made it so the Model-T was built in only ninety minutes (Gelderman, 2023). Before, the assembly of a car could take days, making only a few cars being built every few days. At a later time, Ford, caring about his employees, changed their work week from a forty-eight-hour work week to a forty-hour work week. Because of this, it made it available for them to switch workers out constantly and hire more employees so they could have twenty-four factories that would never stop making their vehicles (Henry Ford Biography 2020). At a future time Ford suffered a stroke and retired in the year of 1945. After his stroke, he passed on his work to his grandson, Henry Ford II (Henry Ford Biography 2020). The American Petroleum Institute (API) awarded Henry Ford the first Gold Medal for his marvelous contributions to the welfare of humanity in this same year. Two years after he was awarded the Gold Medal Henry Ford died due to a cerebral hemorrhage on 7 April 1947 (Henry Ford Biography 2020). He was then put to rest in the Ford Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan at the age of eighty-three. Henry Ford's genius inventions and staggering accomplishments vary from being an amazing inventor to founding of the most successful and acclaimed automobile companies to ever endure. He revolutionized the way we today get to our everyday hobbies and activities and opened it to be affordable for everyone. Henry Ford revolutionzed our world
