In recent years, Venezuela has begun to crumble and has since then continued its decline. Many of the components that caused Venezuela’s current state are derived from the actions of socialist President Hugo Chavez and his successor Nicolas Maduro. Currently Venezuela is in a political and socioeconomic crisis, the worst in Venezuela’s history and among the worst in the Americas.
