This person is called Pierre-Jacques Volaire.

Voltaire accomplishments were that he wrote up to 70 books about the rights of the people.He called for freedom of speech and believed people had right to liberty.

Volatiles family are his brothers,Mom and Dad.His mom died when voltaire was seven years and his family belonged in the middle upper class. Young Voltaire was able to receive an excellent education. He was also a clever child and studied at the College of Louis le Grand from 1704 to 1711. Some things that prepared this person to succeed in life were his mother's death and how he got excellent grades and was a gentle boy.He also went to the college of Louis le Grand.

Someone who helped Voltaire were were his Dad,John Locke and Isaac Newton.His dad helped him because he forced his son to be a lawyer once he came back from college.So while he was working he spent as little time as possible working and devoting his energy to writing satirical poetry. John locke and Isaac newton also helped voltaire because Voltaire challenged the church and promoting ideas of John Locke and Isaac Newton in France.So that helped him achive many acomplishmnets once he was older.

Some challenges that this person faced were being arrested and exiled to the Bastille for a year. He was arrested because he was charged with writing libelous poetry. Voltaire was sent to the Bastille again in 1726, for arguing with the Chevalier de Rohan.He was detained in Bastille for about 2 weeks before being shipped into England.

Some of the biggest accomplishments of Voltaire were that he began to study poetry,plays,historical works and philosophical works.When he got older he began to built and work on a watchmaker
