John Locke was one of the most famous philosophers of the seventeenth century; he is well known across hundreds of nations all over the world. Locke is known for all of philosophical writings throughout his time in the seventeenth century. John Locke was influential in the areas of theology, religious toleration, and educational theory. He had an interesting life, was apart of the Age of Enlightenment, and had an affect on history with his philosophies. Locke was born on 29 August 1632 in Wrington, Somerset.
