In the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare and the Bible [king james version] Macbeth and Judas have plenty of similarities on how they both betrayed their kings because of what people told them and what they was going to get in return. They both got exactly what they wanted but then both ended up dead.
Macbeth and Judas have a lot of similarities. They both betrayed someone that was higher up than them. In the play Macbeth he was rewarded by Duncan who let macbeth eat with him and was made thane of Glamis. Macbeth had done so good in war that King Duncan did these things for him. Macbeth was not supposed to take the throne. Banquo and Macduff's sons were supposed to set on the throne. Macbeth and the rest involved in the king's murder were supposed to kill them but failed because they all fled the country. Judas betrayed his king Jesus but the he didn't do it to become throne he did it for thirty pieces of silver. Judas sold his king and then watched him get tortured and then crucified alive. Macbeth and Banquo were generals witch if you compare both Duncan and Jesus Duncan's followers being that he was the king would have been his army especially the generals. And Judas who betrayed Jesus was one of the twelve disciples. So both Macbeth and Judas were close followers of their kings or at least they were supposed to be. Macbeth was easily tempted into murdering King Duncan. His temptation was that if he did so he would become the king. Judas had temptation as well. His was a little different than Macbeth's but they both had temptation. Judas got thirty pieces of silver to betray Jesus. The things that they both betrayed their king for was not exactly the same but the similarities is that they both betrayed their king. Macbeth was led to the thought of killing KIng Duncan by the prophecies that the three witches had put into his head. Judas betrayed Jesus by letting people who wanted Jesus dead talk him into selling Jesus out. Both Judas and Macbeth were talked into betraying their kings by other people. They both betrayed their king over greed. Macbeth was greedy because he wanted to be the king. Judas was greedy because he wanted to be rich and get the thirty pieces of silver. The bad thing about Macbeth and Judas betraying their kings is that there were really good at what they did which is also another similarity that Macbeth and Judas have in common.
