Lao-Tzu’s Influence In China Lao Tzu was a famous chinese philosopher known for his saying and writings. Lao tzu often wrote some stuff about himself. There's stories and legends about Lao Tzu and his early life. One legend is that he was called an old child because people think he spent 8 years in his mom's womb. Some historians believe that Lao tzu did not even exist, but historians have proof that Lao tzu existed. Lao tzu discovered many thing most were religions. Lao tzu influenced lots by preaching about his religion. Lao tzu was also known for his motivational sayings. Lots of what we know from Lao tzu and about his wisdom was either passed down but much were preserved.

Lao tzu founded a religion called daoism or mostly called taoism. Taoism is used by almost 20,000,000 people. Taoism talks about an important way to live and to behave in front of others. There is two types of taoism philosophical and religious which were established from each other later on. Religious taoism had temples, rituals, priests and people often offered sacrifices to Lao tzu. Religious taoism mostly focuses on worshipping the spirits of nature and doing all these rituals and a sort of prayer which mostly a saying. Religious Taoism is more confusing and harder than philosophical taoism. Taoism was used almost everywhere in china most dynasty's used taoism including the Han dynasty. Philosophical taoism is just looking more into the study of nature. philosophical taoists practise meditation and physical exercise. These practises are for health and inner
