Martin Luther King Jr. is a symbolic figure who inspires the black reform movement/ civil rights to obtain many followers through speeches, nonviolent demonstrations and a new perspective on African American lives morally and politically. This of course was integrated with the civil rights movement where racial injustice was raised during the 1960’s .The intentions for all these aspects were mainly to project the civilized person in which every human possesses according to MLK’s theological perspective. MLK states “…principles of nonviolence is the willingness to be the recipient of violence…”.This statement comes to shove, though behaving in a formal manner people will still try to get rid of the problem that consumes their temperament. Therefore, nonviolent protest ironically become violent due to the oppressors attitude towards the demonstration even if it was lawful to orientate .Though having not violated any political barriers he tied in the peace keeping to compensate for his religious beliefs king explained, “I was thrust into the leadership of the bus protest in Montgomery.” This is king giving an exact demonstration of nonviolence in which he participated, let alone helped assist by becoming a leader. The churches were of course discussing about the bus boycotts spreading it through the community, but then King dismisses the rigors of the situation out of perspective in order to provide the justification of the whole scenario. Though his main focus was how the church wasn’t providing support of his ideology of the truth and rather preaching on heavenly life and going through an earthly hell. Stokely Carmichael eclipses King and call for black power, which he argues that racism is the only thing in the way of obtaining the natural U.S citizens rights. The following evidence proves his philosophy about nonviolence, and how violence always occurs no matter how nonviolent the action takes part in. Through all the circumstances Kennedy invited King in 1963 to Birmingham which was called plan c so that they may “confront” Eugene T. Connor, who defended white supremacy. The brutality of Connor (Bull) was on national television, which gave Kennedy the idea to be able to sectional remedies. Since the outbreak made it to the headlines the white house makes a voting and civil rights commission, which some time later ends up becoming the civil rights bill of 1963. This brief description demonstrates the deviation between the social, political, and moral aspects of this whole scheme that was originally thought out. Social aspect since the society itself is trying to balance out and not have either race superior to the other, in which is how people change constructs and etc. The political aspect is jumping into action with the sectional remedies in which mainly pertained to voting rights and the desegregation of schools.
