Nelson Mandela, born on the 18th of July 1918 in Mvezo, South Africa was a former South African President who was considered by many, as one of the greatest political leaders of the time. From since when he was young, he had always been passionate about creating a country where freedom could cease to exist and where people could live in goodwill. These early roots would then seem to transform themselves into reality that would eventually lead to the various occurrences in his life. Nelson Mandela, being a person opposed to discrimination on the racially divided grounds of South Africa, set foot and started to take action during his time as a member of the African National Congress, where he would provide both peaceful and armed protests to end the oppressive regime. As can be expected, through his passion, Nelson Mandela had experienced many significant events in his life. Notwithstanding these limitations, Nelson Mandela was charged with subversion of the government on the 20th of April, 1964 where eventually, he would be sentenced to a lifetime of imprisonment for his actions alongside seven other offenders. The series of events that lead up to it, all originated from the means of Mandela acting as a political activist to fight against the oppressive social structure by the name of Apartheid.
