He told all these women that he has a wife and a kid at home. Odysseus is a loyal man. He also killed all the men that tried to get to his wife. His wife set up tests for him to see if he is loyal and he passed all the tests. This is why his story is an example of turning tough guys into mush. Who is the name Odysseus? Odysseus is a brave man who helped win the Trojan War. He is married to a woman named Penelope. They also have a son named Telemachus. Odysseus has a nickname and it is “Odysseus the Cunning” because of his quick and clever thinking. But around the world, he is known as Ulysseus.
