1.a) The Green Revolution that occurred during 1945-1985 was the diffusion and advancement of technology in agriculture and associated with it were many agricultural practices/technologies such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, irrigation, etc. Although many parts of the world were impacted by the Green Revolution, the two main regions were significantly affected were India and Mexico. Both of these countries were not guaranteed food security, but with the help of Norman Borlaug, also known as the "Father of Green Revolution", the fear of famines were lifted off of their shoulders and they suddenly became one of the world's agricultural leaders. 1.b)
The Industrial Revolution is recognized for the greatly increased production of manufactured products that commenced within the textile industry in England during the 1700s. Before the transition to the new manufacturing process, individuals lived mostly on farms to harvest crops with their own strength, and also wove textiles by hand. As new ideas and machine advancements developed, new job opportunities were created and the production of goods increased which led to the era of the Industrial Revolution in England. Soon after the Seven Years’ War, the British and the colonists learned that victory came with a rather expensive price (Kennedy, Cohen, & Bailey, 2010). Great Britain tightened its grip on the colonies in North America, expecting colonists to pay for their financial struggles. In order to make colonists pay for the war, Great Britain reminded the North American colonies who had authority by controlling the colonists to submit to various ordinances ratified by British Parliament. This action only showed that arrogance leads to rebellion socially, economically, and politically. Socially, a lack of communication between Great Britain and the North American colonies was to blame for the Revolutionary War.

The Industrial Revolution completely reinvented society in the 1800s. This change would not have arisen though without the outcome of the Agricultural Revolution in which new farming methods created greater farm output that decreased death rates. One of these methods was the enclosure, the fencing off of land by rich landowners for more efficient cultivation of the fields. The enclosure movement pushed farmers off of their land, thus forcing them to move to the cities in search of work. Urbanization supplied the work force for the new factories that generated industrialization.
This may have been brought about by that increased aspirations and competition that was discussed in document 7 and 2. To many the Revolution was considered a miracle and a solution that could provide sufficient food for sustenance. Nonetheless, it still remained a temporary solution ( Doc 1). Documents 5,6,7, and 9 all illustrate some type of social changes that were caused by the green revolution. This revolution brought about many new technological changes and these changes led to competition between farmers to see who was better (doc 5). Another lifestyle change that was caused by the Green Revolution was an increase in incomes, which had caused further consequences. For example, at one point in history, there was need of cash incomes so that fertilizers and seeds could be payed for. This led to women having to work as agricultural laborers so families were able to reach their income goal.
The Industrial Revolution took place from the 18th to 19th century and was a period when rural societies in Europe and America became industrial and urban. There were many effects of this mass industrialization of cities, some good and some bad. However, the negative effects of the Industrial Revolution outweigh the positive effects. Increased use of child labor, massive increase of population in cities and urban areas, and poor working conditions for factory workers were all factors that contributed to the Industrial Revolution causing overall negative effects.

This was a period when many people went from hunting and gathering by moving around and going wherever their sources of food, animals, went to planting/raising crops so that they were in villages (one place at a time). Many built areas, like the Olmec who made the first big city Teotihucán, and structures, like the Maya and Toltec who built pyramids which led to the ideas of other places. The Aztec defeated cities around them by the power of their militaries and their ceremonies—this led to the Aztec ruling an abundance of people.

Human civilization evolved over a period of time. People’s life, behaviour and adoption have been changed from gathering and hunting to urbanization stage. In the beginning, people were depending on gathering and hunting then they reached the stage of cultivation of crops and this way agriculture began. At that time people did agriculture from bare hands, later on, plough developed. At that time, agriculture production is low because of lack of agricultural knowledge and technological inputs were also low which bind the whole family to work in agriculture fields.
