During history, Raw resources were essential for the survival of many people and societies. Many civilizations like the Aztec Empire and England were built and expanded in power and wealth for their trade of natural resources. Two resources that led to great success and change was Gold in Europe and Fertile Soil in the Aztec Empire, because it helped them advance their riches and agriculture.

Fertile Soil found in Mesoamerica lead to the Aztec Empire to advance their agriculture. During the 15th century in Mesoamerica, The Aztecs were located near a lake and since they needed a reliable resource to advance their Agriculture, they used lake soil. Before and During the Age of Exploration, The Aztecs didn’t have flat-lands to plant crops.
