The Beatles were a well known English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960 with members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The Beatles became regarded as the foremost and most influential act in the rock era who were experimenting with several musical styles including pop ballads and Indian music. In the past decade or so, individual members of the group have branched out into music which corresponds to classical music, such as concerto form. Like most classical composition this is not set in stone. This modern concerto has only three but the finale is in an unrelenting presto which opens in a style of a modern composer such as George Gershwin and his Rhapsody in Blue.
