On April 15, 1912 the world learned that the big Titanic ship had crashed and hit a large iceberg. Less than one third of the ship’s passengers was still alive. A bunch of questions was being asked about the Titanic. How did the huge Titanic ship sink? Why did only 711 passengers and crew members survived, when there were at least 1,200 lifeboats? The most important question is who all survived and how many was there? Many people have been wondering how this could happen to the Titanic.
The big Titanic was built in Belfast, in north Ireland. In 1909 during spring, Cunard construction began building the Titanic at Harland and Wolff’s shipyard in Belfast, Ireland. 15,000 of Harland and Wolff’s construction workers was 3,000 labored on the Titanic.
