How did the Cold War begin and what weapons were used to fight this war?
The Cold war took place shortlry after WW2. The main parts were the Iron curtain, The marshal Plan, The Berlin airlift, Formation of NATO, Forming of Warsaw pact, Vietnam War, Sputnik, Creation of the berlin wall, Cuban missile crisis, Fall of Berlin wall, Fall of USSR.
The main Weapons were Ideas and words and some guns.
How it started?
3 main parts to me it started was The Iron Curtain, Berlin airlift, Cuban Missile crisis, and Sputnik. The Iron Curtain was first put up in the year 1946, the Russians made a wall and separated Germany in 2 and there was east and west Germany, East was controlled by USSR and was communist, but USSR wanted Germany to die, So he gave the Germans in the east suffer and they couldn’t go anywhere besides East Germany, they couldn’t leave or go into East Germany, if you tried to leave without authorization you would die and anyone in the West was freedom. While other independence movements used force. Some Ideas are that a dream to go to space and go venture on a new frontier was the Americans idea while the Russians launched Sputnik which it was a surprise and the Americans weren’t expecting it.
