Back in 1929, the Great Depression was the worst drop of the economy in U.S. history. Over a ten-year span, thousands of business’s and business men went into dept leading into bankruptcy all over the country. The government, the transportation, and the people were truly affected by the Great Depression. This sad time was called the great depression for a reason. The overall state of the country was gloomy, sad and desperate. The year of 1929 was plagued by the Great Depression and drove the United States’ economy to the ground.
