The leak was open for 87 days under the ocean which leads to a leak of 3.19 million gallons of water. It is believed that the leak caused the deep ocean was occurring because of the not having the correct data on the gas pressure which was execrating from the sea level. There were also so many reasons why this explosion occurred on the rig. It is also believed that the safety mechanism didn’t work properly during the evacuation. Eleven people were killed because of the explosion occur it also affects the animals under water. It is also believed that the computer gave an alert about increasing pressure 50 minutes before, but the crew onboard didn’t take any action which leads to a huge disaster.
