In about 8500 BCE, changes in the lifestyle of the small migration groups began gradually changing. The Neolithic Revolution; the switch from being hunter-gatherers to a more agricultural life; helped shape the foundation of our history and continues to affect us today. The huge changes that were made through a social and economical standpoint show that life became more complex as we developed new technologies to adapt to agricultural life. When agriculture was on the rise, former hunter-gatherers realized that they could lead a life where they produced more food and lived in larger groups. Some people found the life of agriculture to be too complicated, and preferred to keep a nomadic lifestyle for as long as possible while the world progressed
