The broadcasting of the radio made for a quick way for Americans to find out about news and events including politics. The radio had the potential to reach everyone in America, unlike the newspaper who could reach a wide audience. Throughout history technology has been a huge influence to politics. Kennedy’s good looks and calm demeanor in televised presidential debates to why he won the 1960 election and Bill Clinton was the first president to set up a website for the white house for Americans to be instantly connected.
