The Renaissance was a time period known for rebirth of a place and was known to change certain parts of the world. The Renaissance began in Florence and Siena between the time of 1400-1600’s. There was many Renaissance that took place and two very popular ones were the French Renaissance and the British Renaissance during 1500-1700. It was known to begin in Italy and many reasons it started was for a rebirth, because too many things reminded them about their past. Economic, political, social, ideological, and cultural reasonings led to the Renaissance, and since the Renaissance started in Italy there was a lot of economic and cultural reasonings. There was pottery paintings, and sculptures. The Famous well known painter Leonardo Da Vinci created the Mona Lisa painting which is a painting of a women. Leonardo Da Vinci also created paintings such as The Last Supper, Virgin of the Rocks, Annunciation, Ginevra de’ Benci, and many more famous paintings. Michelangelo was also a world known artist during the Renaissance time creating art work such as David, Pieta`, The Last Judgement, The Creation of Adam, Doni Tondo, Moses, and The Deposition. Artwork was really famous during this time and went for lots of money. Art work sold a lot because some say that is was a memory catched and paintings/sculpture were just becoming known so everyone believed they must have them. The Renaissance also was the rebirth for countries because these countries were known to be in economic depth and were recently in trouble. Italy was having financial economic struggles. During the Renaissance many industries old and new were being hurt by their competitors. During the Renaissance time period Italy grew in population and city states began to grow so the price of goods became higher. They had 4 social classes starting with Kings, Nobles, Knights, and Peasants all having different economic
