when Analyzing the importance of Kerensky’s Prime Minister ship to the failure of the Provisional Government to maintain power. I will consider on the period from June to November, 1917. while the provisional government had a lot of problems and external factors to why it fell the main decision maker was still Kerensky at it was his brash decision making and his polices were what made him the biggest contributor to the fall of the Provisional government. then in 24 August 1917 Kornilov orders Krymov's units to dissolve the government and neutralize the garrison in event of a Bolshevik rebellion “V.N Lvov interviews Kornilov and deceives him into saying that he could become a dictator for Russia and have Kerensky as a minister ,although he also says that he could subordinate himself under Kerensky” . Finally in 29 August 1917 Kerensky makes himself Commander-in-Chief and orders Krymov to halt, The struggles against 'counter-revolution' is headed by the Soviet with the Bolsheviks sending out the most people to defend the capital. No bloodshed is made as both sides were really there to 'defend' the city the effects of this were Kerensky lost support from both the left who suspected him of being involved in the pursuit of becoming a dictator and the right who supported Kornilov. Soldiers suspect their officers of supporting Kornilov and the drive for peace and insubordination increases.
