As Germany's economy collapsed under the harsh reparations settled by the Treaty of Versailles and the faltering world economy, Germany people increasing rejected the solutions of the Weimar Republic and supported Adolf's Hitler's National Socialist Party (Fascism).After World War I, in which Japan fought on the side of the Allies and was therefore one of victors, Japan's economy and military really started to thrive. But by 1930, the Great Depression began to severely affect Japan which led many to doubt that parliamentary democracy could help resolve “national emergency” and rise of Radical Nationalism .Nevertheless, like Germany,Japan developed extensive imperial ambitions .
