Thomas Jefferson was a major leader of our country. He was the third president of the Uninted States, and one of the Founding Fathers. Jefferson was a president who was loved by the public. He was influential in his leadership over the nation, and majorly impacted American history. Thomas Jefferson influenced the nation by being a Founding Father, hostility of a strong government, and creating the fundamental principles of self government. Jefferson was a Founding Father of the United States of America, and did participate in the writing of the Declaration of Independence. This was influential for the US because the Declaration of Independence made America a separate country for all of it’s inhabitants. Also, Jefferson hosted a strong government.
