Tom Sawyer has changed tremendously throughout the book The adventures of Tom Sawyer. From getting engaged the beloved Becky Thatcher, and even getting stuck in a cave with her. Tom even witnessed a murder while just trying to remove his warts at a graveyard. In The adventures of Tom Sawyer, the main character Tom changes throughout the book. Like Tom I have changed academically and socially in the seventh grade. At the start of the novel Tom Sawyer was a no good mischievous little boy who would tell lies and get in trouble all the time. At the beginning of the school year math was the most challenging thing ever. With a little help from my teachers ‍I started to understand it more although it still isn't a walk in the park it's starting to become easier. At the start of school reading was so exciting I was thrilled to start a new book, but as the year went on reading just wasn't as interesting as it used to be, and it still isn't. Is is hard for me to find a good book to read. Reading just isn't my cup of tea. Academics the only things that have changed, socially, and emotionally I have also changed. Imagine yourself at the beginning of the school year with nowhere to sit at lunch, that's what it was like for me I had to move from table, to table, to table, until I found my friends that I still sit with today. Emotionally I haven't really changed at all, but I have changed with confidence. Before believe it or not I wasn't comfortable to sing, dance, act, or present in front of my peers.
