In the novel “Tuesdays with Morrie,” the protagonist (Mitch Albom) goes through many life events and sequences to shape him as a person. Throughout his lifetime, Mitch faces events that have a tremendous effect on him. His former professor (Morrie) causes him to change in an abundance of ways. The three key events that Mitch goes through that had an incredible impact on his life was meeting his college professor in school, reuniting with his college professor after years of no contact with him, and facing the death that comes up on his college professor. In the beginning of his college years, Mitch met his professor, Morrie. During the spring of 1976, they had their first class together. When first meeting, Mitch was intimidated by the amount of students in the class, because it was unfortunately small and it would be hard to cut. Mitch still decides to go on with it, and little did he know this decision would change his life forever. At first, Mitch was taken back by Morrie questioning him on if he should call him Mitchell or Mitch, considering no teacher has ever asked him this before. It was until many years later that Mitch was able to reconnect with his old, wise, professor. Mitch was flicking through the television channels, and when hearing about his professor caught his attention. It was an audiovisual on how Morrie wants people to learn from him about life, since his will be gone shortly. Mitch (without much thought) decided to fly to Morrie's house, to reunite with his old professor. This reunion with Morrie caused Mitch to realize how much he has changed since college. It caused Mitch to rethink his decisions on cutting out Morrie from his life, which led him to make the decision to come back to Morrie the following weeks; therefore, he could give Mitch one last life
