Walt Disney Was an American Entrepreneur, cartoonist, animator, voice actor, and film producer. He is the most famous for his iconic, American character, Mickey Mouse. On November 18, 1932, Disney received a special Academy Award for the creation of the character “Mickey Mouse.” Disney’s first movie was an extreme success, and is still widely popular today; Snow White and the Six Dwarfs. Henry Ford is famous for his worldwide vehicle company, “Ford”.

This creativity goes back to when Walt was younger. Walt started his life just like any normal little kid, but they 're was something special about him. Walt was born in the city of Chicago, Illinois on December 5,1901.
Walt Disney 's first successful sound picture, Steamboat Wille featured his well known creation, Mickey Mouse. Mickey was first known as Mortimer and originally introduced in 1928 (Tames 26). "Disney 's last major success that was the motion picture Mary Poppins, which mixed live action and animation"(biography). His legacy has lasted very well over the years. After Disney 's death, his brother Roy, opened and finished the theme park which was named after Walt to be Walt Disney World.
This fortune started when Walt and his brother Roy began making cartoons as a living. Walt and Roy worked many hours in the studio coming up and brainstorming ideas for different cartoons. They failed many times but kept going and eventually came with the cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Minnie. He made cartoons with those characters, and he quickly became famous worldwide. “The invention of such cartoon characters as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Minnie, and Goofy, combined with the clever use of music, sound, and folk material (as in The Three Little Pigs ), made the Disney shorts of the 1930s successful all over the world.
It is here that the brothers began producing various short animated cartoons and developed new characters. One of the character developed is one originally know as Mortimer Mouse who is now known as Mickey Mouse (Hongmei). From there Disney’s company expanded and flourished. To a point where during World War II Disney created educational and training films for agencies and departments of the government. They encouraged Americans to pay taxes to support the war effort.

Disney made a contract with Pat Powers at cinephone technology for the sound of Steamboat Willie. Like the New York distributor, Powers hired away all of Disney’s workers, including Iwerks. Walt and Roy got their contract back and made Mickey Mouse the greatest
with five-hundred dollars borrowed from his uncle, Walt and his brother Roy set out on the ultimate adventure, and moved to Southern California to set up the Disney Bros. Studio. In 1928, he created Mickey Mouse, his most personally cherished and beloved character. Walt himself provided the voice for Mickey during the early years, until 1947. Walt also had a great drive to develop new innovations in animation. These innovations helped revolutionize the cartoon world.
One way that Walt Disney made a lasting impression on the world was through his cartoons and animations. Disney loved to draw from a young age, he attended art classes and worked a variety of jobs as a cartoonist. After building a stable
