Due to the surge in sales factories began producing more and more items as the demand to have them sky rocketed in the Roaring Twenties. By 1929, when people began losing their jobs and had no way to pay their mounting credit debt to their bank. People's items began to be repossessed and when the stock market crashed people with loans that were supported by stock began to lose there homes and were forced to take to the street. Now that the stock market had crashed those who hadn't lost everything made a dash to their bank to withdraw their entire saving in an attempt to salvage what assets they had left. However more often than not the banks had no more money to dispense
Most of the men that enlisted in WW1 belonged to the working class of Australian society. This often meant that the wives of the men were left at home to look after the children without financial support of their husband who had always provided a families primary source of income. In the aftermath of WW1, in a rebuilding phase, many fields were destroyed, building were dismantled causing an increase in food prices and cost of living. Manufacturers had to rebuild and retool to produce goods.
World War 1 impacted Australian society greatly. This event did change society forever. Women were seen differently as their role in society changed. It brought along the idea of conscription and propaganda to influence the civilian population. Women had to adapt to new lifestyles during World War 1 as the death toll of Australian troops just kept decreasing.

The tension between these two groups was aroused by the economical advancements, social developments, and cultural changes in the 1920s. These tensions were manifested by the economic outburst and the passing of certain laws.
The 1920s, also known as the “Roaring Twenties”, was an exhilarating time full of significant social, economic, and political change. For most Americans, it was full of the prosperity and peace that followed World War I. Middle-class life was full of leisure and class. For others, this time period was filled with hardships and challenges. Many immigrants and African-Americans faced discrimination and segregation from the rest of the United States. One notable, positive aspect of the 1920s was its booming economy.
An example to how The WWI affected the U.S., is how the war created a domino affect on the civilians and people of the land. For instance, a large number of America's men were serving abroad in the war, and along these lines not able to maintain their occupations in the manufacturing plants. With a specific end goal to fill the opportunities, organizations permitted ladies to work in already male just employments. Ladies started rushing to processing plants, and working in commercial enterprises with a specific end goal to bolster their families while their male relatives were away at war. Human kind have experienced many processes of changes throughout the history, and World War I was a new process that Winston Churchill talks about in his excellent article “Mass Effects in Modern World” written in 1925. He mentions that the new mode of life is different from previous because “collectivization” becomes more significant than individual independent, and he talks about the destructiveness of the WWI and its difference with previous wars. American World War One World War One changed the lives of the Americas in every aspect including social, political, and economical. The war had a massive impact on almost every aspect of society in America. America tried to stay neutral throughout most of the conflict, but Woodrow Wilson’s policy and public opinion changed in favor of the U.S. entry into World War One. Congress voted to declare war on Germany on April 6, 1917, and America then entered the war and joined its allies-Britain, France, and Russia. The war first erupted in 1914.
In World War 1 a lot changed for the United States. One things that changed was their foreign policy. We know it changed because they went from a period of isolationism to being involved in world affairs. The use of air power as a strategy of war was highly contingent on the development of technology and became more and more significant to wars as technology developed. After WWII, society took a drastic change for the better in America. America had just gone through the Great Depression, which was the deepest decline in America’s whole history and everyone was affected. Numerous people lost their jobs and were no longer able to afford basic necessities like a house, food, and water. Many could no longer support their families and had nothing. This was all in result of the market crashing, sending the economy into a downward spiral.
World War I brought many changes to society and to foreign policy. For example, women were at work when men were out fighting the war. Germany did many things to make the USA to enter the war after being threaten by Germany. In World War I we were very isolated to other countries. I will be talking about these three topics today.
World War 2 and its Effect on American Society The 1930’s witnessed the rise of aggressive, totalitarian regimes. After World War 1, Germany became a fascist state under the leadership of Adolf Hitler, Mussolini started to gain political control of Italy, and Imperial Japan became ever more aggressive to its Asian neighbors. This was all leading up to a global conflict. With Germany invading Poland in 1939, the world was again in a state war.
