Hera an ancient goddess known to many as strong, and cared deeply for woman and children. Hera was the wife of Zeus, and the sister of Zeus. Titans Oceanus and Tethys were the ones who raised Hera. Heras name is unknown to the mortals so the people called her hara, meaning ‘lady’ in Roman. The animals that were sacred to her were the peacock and the cow, and the city that she had favored was Agros.

Zeus had many failed attempts at asking Hera to marry him, he finally stirred up a plan to trick Hera into marrying him. Zeus took the form of a cuckoo bird that was hurt and in need of help.
