Different cultures view the Sun in the sky in many perspectives. However, majority of cultures view the Sun as a god, usually a benevolent god. Indian culture is very spiritual - infact, Hindus worship a plethora of gods still to this day. Indians, or Hindus, view the sun as Surya, their sun god. Spiritualism in Indians can be recognized throughout their religion, mainly through their gods. Surya is depicted as a red man with three eyes, four arms, riding a chariot drawn by seven mares, while he holds water lilies with two of his hands, and his third hand encourages worshipers whom he blesses with his fourth hand.
