Driverless cars will have a big effect on communities everywhere. It will change the way people live and go about their day. Back in the early 1900s Henry Ford would have never dreamed of there being cars that could drive themselves. Cars have come a long way since they were invented, by increasing in technology and price. “The cost of implementing the new technology could be way out of reach for most Americans. Technology that is $100,000 or more would make the cars very expensive because of the unique technology. “The cost of sophisticated electronics, including lidar, radar, sensors, cameras, computing and networking devices, on top of the cost of additional development, maintenance, and liability, will price driverless cars out of reach of most consumers.” (Mui). Although building the cars will be expensive, companies will still want to make them.
If uber wanted to make the cars bad enough then they will find a way even if it is very expensive.
