How do you think the Roman Empire fell? Lots of things caused the empire to collapse just depends on how you look at it. There are many versions of how Rome fell like the rise in Christianity, inflation, and Environmental and Public Health Problems, and that’s just a few. The Roman Empire was around for over 1000 years with only about 200 successful years. Despite the many years of the Roman Empire being the most extensive empire in the world it had its downfalls. Rome changed its government from a monarchy to a republic, it also changed its rulers. Throughout the Roman Empire, there were many wars like the Punic wars which affected them greatly. Rome had many things leading to its fall like “Barbarian” Germanic Invasions, Political Corruption, along with Inflation.

For the first time in 800 years, Rome was at the mercy of a “barbarian” army.” This supports my claim because the evidence shows that after many years of Rome ruling the ancient world, it came to the barbarian mercy which led to the fall of Rome And since the Barbarians took over Rome it made the Roman Empire weak and undefended.
I think that inflation helped with the fall of Rome this can be supported with proof from Social Studies Techbook “The Empire in the East” “Constantine understood that the western Roman Empire had been so drained by taxes that it no longer produced wealth for the state. Even the city of Rome was no longer important, either economically or strategically.” This corroborates that inflation assisted with the fall of Rome because it talks about how inflation made Rome no longer important to the ancient world and also brought it
