Ranger who leads a small group of soldiers on a mission to find and bring back Private Ryan, whose three brothers have been killed in action during World War II. Captain Miller is my favorite character for lot’s of reasons. First, he is a competent and skilled leader who remains calm under pressure, making very smart tactical decisions and prioritizing the safety of his men. He shows a strong sense of duty and responsibility towards finishing the mission and ensuring the welfare of the soldiers around him. Also, Captain Miller is shown as a compassionate and empathetic leader. He really cares for his men, putting their well-being above his own many times. He is human because he takes the time to understand and connect with each soldier on a personal level, fostering a sense of camaraderie and loyalty within the unit.
