In society today, across the world, people seem to come up with various ways to communicate, as well as articulate aspects of “How “we communicate with one another. To be specific, there’s conflict between two methods used to communicate, which is code meshing and code switching. The two are slightly different. Both terminology plays a role and has an impact on society, which is expressed through communicating encounters when dealing with professional people on the daily bases. Code meshing is described as the act of combining local, vernacular, colloquial, world dialects of English with SWE on formal assignments and in every day conversation, in an attempt to embrace the globalized and diverse world we live in. I feel like code meshing effects our own literacy in terms of how the word is pronounced vs how the word is correctly stated. Code switching is more like changing a mechanism for retaliating information a specific way, in order to please someone or disprove someone’s opinions. Throughout my daily life, I take the time to unitize these techniques as I make decisions by the minute. As a part of my everyday communication methods, I often find myself using code switching in my career world because I find myself very unsophisticated in someone else’s eyes, if my use of communication and message was unclear. I sometimes feel subjected to use code switching when I’m outside my culture, in public, at my work place or in school. During the weekend’s, I gather around with my friend’s, me personally; I don’t take caution when I call, text, or reply. Suppose to being a student attending a university, when my teachers contact me, whether that’s a phone call, email, or text message, I make sure I use the technique code switching when responding back to my professors. In that instance, I have two reasons why I choose this technique. One, this gives me an opportunity to show my professors what I’ve engaged while being in the class, as I apply it with my knowledge as well as responding back to messages, emails, and phone
