In the poem The stranger finds Himself in the stranger the major theme of the poem and emphasized his identity. In poetry there are many literary devices that a poet can use to contribute to the theme. Darwish uses these devices to their fullest extent to make his poem a poem. Darwish use of evolving ideas to contribute and make what he is trying to talk about. At the creation to make an idea to develop to support and help his theme is to have a small start. To not say a lot to help their reader begin to understanding his poem, and to have them not be confused. This idea that Darwish is creating is that there is a journey for an identity. Together we searched for our addresses” There are two people that Darwish is talking about and they are both strangers to the world. Twilight is “the light from the sky at the end of the day when night is just beginning” (Webster). The two people are running out of a form of the end to a beginning. Which is similar to a form of revival or turning a new leaf. Where the end brings the beginning, it is also like the cycle of life in that context. An address when people hear about they immediately think about where they live, because that is what people are exposed to the most in documents. Since darwish uses the plural of the word there would be multiple or just two addresses that have to be found.
