The holocaust what does it mean? January 30, 1933 it all began. Jews started dying in vain. The holocaust became the end of the world for Jews. Innocent lives were taken away children that didn't have the fault. Life's matter doesn't matter who they are or where they come from. Throughout Night and the movie Life is Beautiful surviving and staying positive emerges as an important message because they stayed strong along the way to live, there are survivors from the holocaust and they are telling their own story. We as humans have to learn from our mistakes and not make them again. People will die but let's not make it our fault and have to cry tears one more time.

Wiesel states “You must never lose faith even when the swords hangs over your head.” (31) That even though they are going through hard times, faith is something positive that has to stay with us until it's all over. Also Wiesel states “I did not deny God's existence but I doubted his absolute justice.” (43) What Wiesel is trying to say is that he knew that there is a god out there but at this point he thought that god wasn't acting far with them. In the book Night Elie mentions “ On April 10… It was decided to evacuate all of us at once.” (114) This exact day Elie Wiesel walked out of the camp without no family. He was a survivor of the holocaust, one more survivor that told the mistake of the human beings. In the movie Life is Beautiful Giosue was the last one to get out of the camp after the war finished and at the end he found his mother. In that time Giosue didn't know what was really going on he didn't know what happen to his dad but at least he found someone he knew was going to be with him until he could stabilized and remember what really happened and tell what he went
