Gender role stereotyping can be seen in every domain of children’s lives which takes us back to toy preferences. Sex differences in toy preferences were noted in research as early as the 1930s (EMOLU, E., 2014). Toys are designed specifically for boys and girls using gender stereotypes. Therefore, continuous presentation of stereotypic toys may deny a child freedom to explore, discover, and express potential. (Smith, N. L., 2015). 4.
