Many people in Africa can express themselves through hip hop, rapping about their frustrations, corruption, bad government and problems in society. They are groups that create awareness of what is happening in their country. Also they make people have a voice in their society and they can criticize their government. They fight for what they believe in and hope that they inspire others to do the same thing. Their lyrics tend to have power and express struggles and symbol a better life. Talibés are children that are sent far away from home because their parents cannot take care or provide for them and they give them away thinking that they will get an education and a better life, but they end up begging in the streets and being abused. This is something that affects society a lot because kids tend to get aggressive if they don’t get enough money to satisfy the person in charge of them because they know that they will have bad consequences. They also live in very poor conditions, and are not allow to touch the money that they get. Another social issue are the yearly floods witch are the result to bad infrastructure, and they affect big communities in Senegal. What concerns me the most is that this does not happen where rich people live and the government does not do anything about it in the poor areas. These floods could lead to disease since sometimes some houses have water that has been there since a year ago. The government should pay more attention to the community does not matter if they are poor or rich they are still people and they should be able to live in sanitary
