The explosion at Hiroshima still impacts people today. Whether it be that someone had a family member or friend killed in the explosion, we all felt something from it. Today we are getting threats from North Korea of nuclear bombs. Hiroshima affected a lot of lives that day. Yet still today some people don't realize the impact it left on the lives of others. To begin with, the people in Japan were getting bomb threats daily and warnings that it might strike at any moment. This particular day they did not send out a warning for a bomb so no one was expecting it at all. People were going on with their everyday lives, when their lives ended. Some people that survived are still around to tell the story. Their lives are still affected today. They lost their family and friends, and almost their own lives. Just because people were lucky enough to not be killed, does not mean they did not suffer from it. There is still areas in Japan that are too dangerous for people to walk and breathe in. Secondly, people here are still affected by this bombing also. Some are too young to understand what happened in Hiroshima all those years ago. People in Japan were affected physically. They watched their loved ones and other people around them suffer. Their families and friends died and some just suffered from the toxins. To this day, there are survivors that can tell you how horrible this bombing truly was. People in the U.S have been affected by it also. Some people feel as even though they had no say in it, they are still responsible for what happened. We are also all experiencing bomb threats just as the people in Japan did.
