The main theme in this Arthurian Legend is Loyalty and Betrayal. In King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table by Roger Lancelyn Green King people betray each other and are loyal to each other by lying to each other, helping each other when they are in need, and by standing by each others side in battle.
Launcelot, King Arthur's best friend and knight, and Guinevere, King Arthur's wife, had lied about having an affair behind King Arthur’s back.
