In all of the books/movies that we have watched I noticed that someone in the story had courage. For some things like going up to the Radley house takes a lot of courage or leaving the reservation to go to an all white school. “ I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. Jem shows courage by going up on the porch and touching the Radley house. Even when Dill,Scout and Jem go in the Radley yard to the window and see if they can spot Boo inside. Jem showed courage by looking in the window and even going back to get his pants.
