How do both macro conditions and social location affect children and adults? In recent times in the United States, there has been an increased shift in the majority of families away from the nuclear family to different family structures, such unmarried-cohabitation, single-parent families, extended families, etc. This issue has been a dramatic societal change that has prompted sociologist to debunk how both macro and social location affects children and adults. Macro conditions and social locations affect the following factors: the experiences, socialization, ideology, sexuality, mating, reproduction, family structures and life chances of children and adults.
