How Does Michael Interact With The Ministry

Michael has energy and enthusiasm. He believes in providing an atmosphere of ownership in ministry. He shared the two ministries he started in the two congregations he served as the associate pastor, “The Waters” and the small group gatherings continued for several years after he left. He shared the music group continues as “The Waters” till today. The small group ministries are still continuing as well. He is very intentional in reaching out to people and involving them in the ministry of the church. He connects with people finding mutual interests and develops a relationship that creates ownership.
Michael shared during his ministry he also served as a music pastor because of his credentials in music. He encouraged people with interest in music to join the choir when the person who was in charge of the music left He shared how he helped a woman who wants to sing in the choir but was able to come forward to join the choir. He helped her find friends who are willing to help her and finally got her to share her musical gifts. He reaches out one on one and inspires and mobilizes people to take leadership roles and mentors them.

He invited people into a conversation that led to their relationship with Christ and the church. He shared how one time a woman came to the church looking for not a church but to have spiritual experiences. She walked in seeing one of the advertisements about The Waters worship. She wanted to know about God and build a relationship with God. She had absolutely no experience with a church. Michael enjoys building relationships with those not currently involved in a faith community, which are at various commitment levels. He has a gift to accompany the newly or minimally involved in deeper engagement with their faith and life of a particular
