Introduction Modernization impacted diversity in the United States of America through multiple ways. Diversity has become an initiative in today's society. For past civilizations, minorities were excluded which that caused only one group of race to be isolated, instead of becoming modernize and including the society as a whole. Many reliable evidences show how modernization impacted the United States could be seen through the peasants and other cultural structures that were introduced since the beginning of time. Many jobs sectors have opportunities available to any race. Diversity is key to strengthening a strong and inclusive economy. “Businesses that embrace the nation’s changing demographics reap the economic benefits of a diverse and inclusive workforce.” (Griswold, 2013). The benefits are numerous of including people from different cultures, backgrounds, and personalities because every person will think in different way and everyone will come up with a different idea. Different people will have different perspectives on certain issues. Including people with different perspectives in a workplace will increase the economy. Diversity goes beyond just gender for example, such as race, sexual orientation, age, class, religion, ability, and many other factors. According to United States Department of Labor “ diverse workforce are better able to find the best and the brightest talent needed to compete in an increasingly competitive economy”. There are benefits of diversity in job sectors, which people have different perception based on their culture and tradition. To this extent, it would not be the case that the presence of multiple cultural voices in American society would operate to increase the strength of the school-culture. In our education department, African and black students have a disadvantage when competing with other races such as white and etc. The black group is a disadvantage when compared to another group such as the whites. They are mostly in the lower academic tracking programs and it would be hard to move up to the higher academic tracking programs. This shows a disadvantage to the group of black/African American population. This was the result of many studies that looked at these academic tracking programs. From this, one can conclude the Black group is a disadvantage when compared to another group such as the whites. They are mostly in the lower academic tracking programs and it would be hard to move up to the higher academic tracking programs. They then receive unequal amount of education as the whites do. This can then affect what type of job they have in the future. This proves how there are limits on education for blacks and African Americans.
