Fairytales are a popular form of storytelling, primarily to entertain children. Fairytales consist of magical and imaginary creatures and imaginary places that perform actions far beyond those that an ordinary human can execute. Authors began generating the ideas for these fantasy worlds around the eighteen century and have progressed during the years. All stories are growing and developing steadily as societies and cultures grow and develop. They are changing also through the constantly evolving different languages and communication types. Each rendition of past and present fairytales is organized with similar characters and similar plots. Perrault’s use of basic characters, a king, a queen, a prince, a princess, and an occasional fairy godmother, are used in other fairytales as main characters. Each of these characters plays typically a similar role in each story just in a different context.
